Bayram al-Tunsi

Bayram al-Tunsi (بيرم التونسي), born Mahmoud Muhammad Mustafa Bayram in 1893, was an Egyptian poet with Tunisian roots. He is renowned for his Egyptian nationalist poetry, which led to his exile by the British, and he is considered a pioneer of Egyptian vernacular poetry.
