Al-Naḥḥās (أبو جعفر النَّحَّاس‎, d. 949 CE) was a distinguished Egyptian grammarian and Qur’anic exegete of the Abbasid era, known for his deep scholarship in Arabic philology and syntax. He authored influential works such as Al-Nāsikh wa-l-Mansūkh and Iʿrāb al-Qurʾān, contributing significantly to the study of abrogation and grammatical analysis of the Qur’an.
