Literally, the phrase means “it’s all soap to the Arabs,” but as an idiom, it’s a dry piece of wisdom about the inability—or refusal—to distinguish between things. The proverb suggests that when you don’t sweat the small stuff, everything looks the same. It’s the perfect mug for the thoughtful, yet decidedly unfussy, individual.
