The نون خفيفة refers to the light emphatic nūn (نْ) in Arabic grammar. It is a suffix used to emphasize verbs, making them more assertive. Unlike the heavy emphatic nūn (نَّ), which is stressed, the light emphatic nūn is always silent and follows an open syllable, such as in the example انصرَنْ (help!).
